51_Beginning Motor Demo Board

The purpose of the motor demo board is to ensure that the surface-mount parts used for motor control work as expected.  The PDIP chips used previously for motor control testing verified control design, but the final parts used are actually different components with similar functionality.

For the motor demo board’s schematic, I just copy and pasted a single section of motor control components from the overall schematic as in Figure 1, and attached the inputs and outputs to headers.

I let autoroute do most of the routing for this board, but it had trouble routing traces for the small motor driver IC (Figure 2).
